I’m going to school next fall at Asbury University (a Christian college with a HUGE emphasis on communications) and I’m doing a double major of Film Studies and Production and Creative Writing, with a minor in Acting. I want to eventually become a director. After I finish school, where is the best place to start? Film Festivals, or getting a small part behind the scenes of movies on LA?
I’m making a zombie film with a few friends which perhaps include the use of a green screen and I was wondering what the best software would be for this? What would the best software costing £30 and under and what would be the best software without a budget that the professionals use?
I have completed bachelor degree in Computer Science and working. I can’t attend full time college. I’m ready to study 1 to 3 years of evening film school courses. So I want to do film making in evening college. I’m thinking to take 1 year evening course in NYFA. Is there any other best institute other NYFA by considering my situation?
Does USC or NYU offers evening courses in film making?
My friend and I would like to make a film and I reckon I could spare £100 to be spent on a camcorder. Do you know where I can find a good one? I’ve been looking for one on Ebay but don’t understand all the numbers. Are there any brands or cameras you recommend or deals you know of? If so could you please send me a link or describe what I’m looking for?
I wish to start making short low budget films as soon as I graduate.
I want to know what are some Essential books to buy?

I really want to learn as much on film making as I can. I was going to sign up for a class at a nearby college but missed the deadline. I wanted to know if there was a book goes over as many aspects of film making as possible. I need to know more about sound, lighting and lenses.
I’m in highschool and want to persue a career in film making, but I need a new camera. What’s a good camera to use for film making that’s not very expensive? I know camera’s can be pricey but I’d like to try to save some money since I’m on a limited budget.
