I am the first one in my troupe to do it and I don’t know how they judge it. Do the critics ask you any questions over there, do you have to present your film, do they interview you or is it judged before-hand and then shown to the public? Thanks!

What was the name of the first film to have this breakthrough?
Thanks
You can download the song off itunes here. itunes.apple.com The music for this video was composed by Elton Luz. You can contact him at this link. www.eltonluz.com The vocals were recorded specifically for this song, and they were done by Phoenix Luz Costa As far as the technical details go on the making of this video, I have them right below…. The entire film was shot on a Canon 5D Mark II. The only lens used was a Canon 70-200 FL series lens. I used that, an an extender, which double magnifies the 70-200, and makes it go up to 400mm for the super close shots. The magnifier I used was a Canon Extender EF 2x III. I shot the entire film at 24fps. I filmed it over the coarse of one full day, and one half day, back to back. I filmed it on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, all on the North Shore, at Sharks Cove the first day, and Waimea the second day. I filmed the footage January 21’st and 22nd. It was some of the biggest waves to hit Hawaii that year. With the Canon 5D Mark II, since it does pictures as well, I’ve uploaded some of those I took while there. My primary focus was to film waves, and I took these just because I was already set up, check the link below for that. devingraham.smugmug.com For more information on the making these youtube videos, questions, and film making stuff, check out my blog below. devingraham.blogspot.com
I understand that movies like “There Will Be Blood” are not entertaining but how come most people can not look passed that and see it for the brilliant film it is? I always here “OMGZ THAT IS THE MOST BORING MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN”. Maybe I am of a rare breed of film goer who appreciates quality over stupid jokes and gratuitous action?

Join the “FROSTY MAN” Facebook group for some exciting updates!!! www.facebook.com This is the extended and enhanced version of FROSTY MAN AND THE BMX KID which was written and directed by Tim McLachlan – one of the five finalists in the international YOUR BIG BREAK film-making competition run by Tourism New Zealand in conjunction with Barrie Osborne (The Matrix, The Lord of the Rings) and Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings, King Kong). With a slightly longer running time and an enhanced sound mix, this is the version I would have made had we not run out of time during the post-production process and had not had a 3 minute time restriction – enjoy! I am planning to attend there after high school, but I am scared that I will not be able to find a job after I graduate due to the fierce competition for those kinds of jobs. I would like to do video/film editing. Are there a lot of internships for those? I know they say they have internships, but I would like to see if anyone out there that has graduated or is attending right now has a job in their intended field of study.
